If you know someone who needs a family physician they need to register with the Health Connect Registry (the centralized provincial waitlist) for their geographical region found at https://www.healthlinkbc.ca/health-connect-registry
Any physicians with capacity to intake patients will be looking to that central registry to attach patients.
